About the event

Not a runner? Don't worry, you don't have to be! Simply work with your team to complete all of the obstacles and enjoy the fun!

Teams of 3 OR 4 people

This year there are TWO categories of winners:

3 person teams
4 person teams

(There will be a 1st, 2nd, and 3rd place winner in each category)

Just want to run for fun? Great! You and your team will go through the obstacles while smelling the proverbial roses and laughing the entire way, and while you won’t be eligible for a top winner prize, you still get a finisher Dogtag!

LIVE packet pickup is on FRIDAY APRIL 29th at Liquid Roots from 6 p.m. To 9 p.m.

Each participant and volunteer will receive a free event t-shirt. There will be extra t-shirts on sale at the event.

BBQ and drinks will be available for purchase to all NON race participants, and free for all participants AND Veterans and First Responders- hosted by Carolina Car Company

For the first time ever there will be a beer tent provided by local brewing company Liquid Roots open to the public (21+)!!!

Blind Draw Tournament (”Singles Tournament”) sign ups begin at 8:30 a.m. for $10/person - EVERYONE puts a name on a list for a Blind Draw. Teams are created based on the number drawn. Bags fly at 9 a.m.
2nd tournament (“Teams Tournament”) sign ups start at 1:30 p.m., bags flybegins at 2:00 p.m. - $20/person - Bring your own partner.

Bring a change of clothes (You’re gonna want them!) AND a lawn chair so you can hang out and watch the other areas of the event!

*3 or 4 teammates are required to run the race, however, INDIVIDUALS can purchase tickets separately and at any time.

*After you have registered and paid, have ONE person from your team email the gym at LenoirNC@anytimefitness.com and we will get your team scheduled for your individual start time.

Heats will begin at 9am and occur every 10 mins.

*** You may request a certain time and we will do our best to accommodate you and your team; however, we cannot guarantee there will be availabilities in the heat you request. Once scheduled, you may NOT change your heat time. ***

Schedule

The day will start with the Honor Guard presenting of the Colors and the National Anthem at 8:45am. Directly following that, the first team will begin the race at 9am sharp! Each team will start at a specific time and will be spaced 10 minutes apart. Upon registration, have one person from your team reach out to us to pick your team's start time. Once your team has chosen their start time, it is non-negotiable. Failure to start on time will result in time penalty added to your team. Please plan to arrive at least 45 mins prior to your start time so your team has enough time to register and stretch/warm up appropriately.

Covid-19 Information

Covid safety is a priority! Precautions including but not limited to - Staggering start times for teams to keep distance between teams, sanitation of obstacles, and of course an outdoor venue. Face masks are to be worn at the discretion of volunteers.

Anytime Fitness reserves the right to cancel the race for safety of participants at any point. We will do everything possible to not cancel, but safety is our top priority. Any donations made - both from individuals or sponsors - will not be refunded and will still go to our veterans and first responders.
